DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas, Thomaston Conn. "Kitchen" 8-day time & strike mahogany mini beveled front shelf clock, C.1870.
CONDITION:
Original darkened finish with a few edge veneer chips. Repainted dial, "S" minute hand missing its tip. Lower colorful glass tablet is newer (and appropriate). Original inside paper label complete but darkening. Lyre-plate mov't ticks and strikes, looks clean. Ht. 16".
